The Southwest Gem & Mineral Society, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting Earth Sciences, annually hosts a show where members collaborate with educators, renowned dealers, and knowledgeable individuals. Proceeds from this event fund scholarships for local universities like St. Mary’s University, Trinity University, and the University of Texas at San Antonio. Additionally, cash awards are presented to winners of High School Science Fairs featuring projects related to Earth Sciences. As a member of SWGMS, you can anticipate a rewarding and fun-filled experience, with the level of your involvement intensifying the rewards.
